Yuliya Volokh – Translator, Writer, Editor, Instructor and Tutor for Russian, English and Spanish
My name is Yuliya Volokh and I am the creator of miaLingua, which was born out of love for language.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was born in Russia and came to the United States at the age of eleven. In Cleveland, Ohio I completed my undergraduate education in Sociology and Spanish, and later my Master’s Degree in Modern Languages and Literature. For two years I taught Spanish at the Cleveland State University, thinking that teaching was to be my career for the rest of my life. However, when I moved to Miami, Florida after graduation, I realized that I could do a lot more with language, rather than solely teach. The wide diversity of Miami enchanted and inspired me to create a company just as diverse when it comes to language. Over the years of my education and real-life experience, I have gained expertise in translation (English-Spanish-Russian), writing, editing and teaching that motivated me to bring these trades together under one roof.
Below you will find the hand-picked and extremely talented instructors and translators currently working with miaLingua.
I hope miaLingua can be of service to you and please don’t hesitate to contact me!
